The Pasadena Tournament of Roses® is rolling out the second Sneak Peek of the floral magic headed your way in the 137th Rose Parade® presented by Honda. On January 1, 2026, a global audience will be treated to spectacular floats you won’t want to miss!
Since the very first Parade in 1890, each float has been a unique masterpiece—a blend of art, engineering, and all-natural materials. This year’s theme, “The Magic in Teamwork,” celebrates the collaborative spirit of the City of South Pasadena, Elks U.S.A., Rotary, and Star Trek 60. Their creativity and teamwork have turned ideas into stunning works of floral art.
From the moment they turn onto Colorado Boulevard, these floats will travel 5½ miles of Pasadena pavement into a moving garden party—complete with vibrant storytelling, jaw-dropping detail, and more petals than you can count. Millions will watch from their couches and an estimated 800,000 will watch from the curb, all united for America’s New Year Celebration®.
City of South Pasadena – “The Great Picnic Heist!”

The City of South Pasadena is excited to unveil its 2026 Rose Parade float, “The Great Picnic Heist!” Inspired by the parade theme “The Magic in Teamwork,” the whimsical design captures a lighthearted tale of cooperation and creativity. Illustrated by local artist Renee Hoss-Johnson, the float features a sleepy bear enjoying a picnic while a team of mischievous black ants works together to sneak off with his food.
With its lively colors and playful storytelling, the float celebrates the spirit of teamwork that brings ideas to life. An all-volunteer organization, the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses has proudly built and decorated its own floats since 1893, making it the oldest self-built entry in the Parade. Each year, this beloved community tradition comes to life through the generosity and hard work of South Pasadena residents who fundraise, design, build, and decorate the city’s float. “The Great Picnic Heist!” is a joyful reminder that great things happen when a community works together.
Elks U.S.A – “Elks Care Elks Share”

Float builder: Phoenix Decorating Company
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks’ float, “Elks Care Elks Share,” honors the organization’s century of service and the 100th anniversary of the Elks National Memorial in Chicago. The float’s rear features a stunning depiction of the memorial’s rotunda, originally built in 1926 to honor more than one thousand Elks who gave their lives in World War I and later rededicated to all U.S. veterans.
A towering tree connects the rotunda to a majestic elk at the front of the float, symbolizing growth, unity, and enduring service. Surrounding the tree are four golden statues representing the Elks’ core virtues: Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity. Flowing through the float is a red, white, and blue ribbon listing key national programs, including initiatives promoting patriotism, youth development, drug awareness, and veterans’ support.
Now celebrating 19 years in the Rose Parade, the Elks continue to embody generosity and community spirit, funding their work entirely through the contributions of members and families who believe in caring, sharing, and serving those in need.
Rotary – “Unite for Good”

Float builder: Phoenix Decorating Company
The Rotary Rose Parade float, “Unite for Good,” celebrates the power of collective action and the beauty of our shared planet. This year’s design highlights how Rotary members work together to create lasting, positive changes—locally and globally.
From providing clean water and promoting peace to protecting the environment, Rotarians unite to strengthen communities and uplift lives around the world. The float brings this spirit to life through a heartwarming scene on the African savanna: a mother tiger guards her playful cubs while twin giraffes and zebras stand nearby. A green snake curls around a tree, a pink flamingo wades gracefully, a hippo relaxes below the surface, and a colorful toucan watches from above.
Together, these animals represent harmony among all living things and remind us of our shared responsibility to protect Earth’s diverse ecosystems. Through imagination and artistry, Rotary’s float is a joyful tribute to unity, compassion, and the incredible impact of working together for good.
Star Trek 60 – “Space for Everybody”

Float builder: Artistic Entertainment Services
Star Trek boldly launches its 60th anniversary celebration with an out-of-this-world float debuting in the 2026 Rose Parade®. The float embodies the franchise’s enduring values of hope, inclusivity, exploration, and unity, while spotlighting the upcoming series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy and honoring six decades of visionary storytelling.
From back to front, the float takes fans on a visual journey through the Star Trek universe. The U.S.S. Enterprise soars above a constellation of planets, while Vasquez Rocks, a beloved Los Angeles filming site, anchors the rear. Interactive transporters illuminate the center, and the Starfleet Academy campus rises proudly above the San Francisco skyline.
The Star Trek 60 emblem shines along the sides, and front and center sits the legendary bridge of the Enterprise. With the theme “Space for Everybody,” Star Trek invites fans around the world to celebrate a future defined by courage, curiosity, and compassion—a future where we boldly go forward together.
With each Sneak Peek, the excitement builds toward January 1, when millions around the world will experience the floral wonder of the 137th Rose Parade® and the 112th Rose Bowl Game®.
