“Operation Cookie” for hospitalized, homeless, and special needs veterans is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, at the South Pasadena Woman’s Club.

Cookies will be distributed to veterans throughout the Southland, including patients at VA hospitals, to veterans in area convalescent care facilities, to the Wounded Warriors Battalion at Camp Pendleton, to homeless veterans served by the VA, and to other groups serving physically and emotionally challenged men and women veterans.

“We hope you already have you favorite cookie recipe planned or will shop for cookies at your favorite bakery or market,” said Operation Cookie organizer Barbara Biber. “Your donation of cookies, time, volunteer service and financial support in the past has been sincerely appreciated. And we hope we can count on you this year.”
