David Walter Gibson was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1935, son of Francis L. Lauk and Hubert I. Gibson. He joined his creator on January 16, 2021. “Dave” is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna, sister Barbara G. Gustafson (Ohio) and the fond memories of his sister Doris G. Simonis. He will be remembered as a beloved husband, loyal brother, and dear uncle.
David earned a Bachelors and Masters degree. He was a U.S. Army veteran, chemist, and accountant retired from Ralph M. Parsons. He was an active member of Holy Family Church. His wit as a poet and storyteller extraordinaire will be his legacy.
He loved and respected the beauty of nature and all creation. He was deeply concerned about conserving our natural resources.
