San Marino Junior Alliance invites the community to attend their benefit “Spirit of Ohana” on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at a private club in the San Gabriel Valley to support Casa Treatment Center.

The club will be transformed into a tropical paradise with food, decor and ukulele music transporting attendees to the Hawaiian islands. The evening will include a Silent and Live auction.

Several of the many special auction items include an escape to a five night stay in a four bedroom mountain home in Eden, Utah just north of Salt Lake City near Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley. A beautiful diamond necklace from China Art Jewelers, Cocktail Party and Tour for twelve at the Flying A Garage, Lake House in the town of Bass Lake, diamond clover stud earrings, Total Wine and More Private Wine Class for 20, tickets to the Pasadena Speakers Series, dinners at several popular local restaurants, entertainment options, and many one of a kind adventures are among some of the auction items available for bidding.

Ohana means family, and family cares for one another in difficult times. This feeling symbolizes Junior Alliance’s relationship with Casa Treatment Center. Casa provides hope, transformation and recovery to women of all ages, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds who are suffering from alcohol abuse and addiction.

Founded in 1967 and located in Pasadena, the twenty-four hour non-medical substance abuse treatment program encourages the physical, mental, and spiritual growth in the recovery process by providing the women with a safe, compassionate, and sober environment to help them reach the goal of becoming alcohol and drug free.

Benefit Co-Chairs, Jackie Ficht and Janet Sedgwick from South Pasadena along with Junior Alliance Co-Presidents Carolyn Seitz and Marlene Evans, have expertly orchestrated their committee members to create a magical evening for all guests.
