Noël Coward’s classic comedy “Hay Fever” comes to South Pasadena Theatre Workshop

South Pasadena Theatre Workshop presents Noël Coward’s HAY FEVER in celebration of the playwright's 125th birthday

South Pasadena Theatre Workshop is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of Noël Coward’s classic comedy Hay Fever, directed by Sydney Walsh. This timeless gem will grace the stage from June 5 to July 14 at 1507 El Centro Street, South Pasadena, CA 91030.

Hay Fever is a delightful homage to the wit and eccentricity of famed English playwright Noël Coward, perfectly capturing the essence of his comedic spirit. Set in 1925, the play unfolds over a weekend in the English countryside, where the Bliss family’s penchant for dramatics creates chaos and hilarity for their unsuspecting guests.

Director Sydney Walsh shares her enthusiasm for the production, stating, “It’s been an absolute joy for our team to delve into the world of Hay Fever and bring Coward’s vibrant characters to life. This play is a celebration of laughter, love, and the wonderfully absurd quirks that make us all human.”

Hay Fever remains fresh and entertaining, a testament to Coward’s enduring brilliance.”
