Avick Manukian, President, South Pasadena Police Officers Association, presents a $1,000 check the association donated to the committee working to retain the South Pasadena Utility Users’ Tax at the Nov. 6 election.
Representing the committee are Sally Kilby and (Ed Donnelly, co-chair, South Pasadena Public Services Committee 2018 – No on N. The committee asks voters to vote No on Measure N.
A majority of No votes is needed to deny the attempt to repeal the city’s 7.5 percent Utility Users’ Tax. Revenues from the tax fund vital public services, including, police, fire, paramedics, senior and youth services, the library and road repair.
