Beginning April 4, 2023, the South Pasadena Public Library Conversational English Group will offer new Tuesday evening sessions from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in addition to the Wednesday sessions from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Ray Bradbury Conference Room, on the second floor of the Library. The group is open to all adult English language learners who want to practice their spoken English.
No advance registration is required — participants are welcome to walk in. Both groups are led by highly qualified native English speakers. Masks are required.
In addition to the Conversation Groups, the Library supports English language learners with a variety of English as a Second Language (E.S.L.) materials that can be borrowed from the collection, as well as with online resources like the language learning app Mango Languages.
