A woman in her 20s was treated and released at the scene after her motorcycle and a vehicle collided Sunday afternoon at the corner of Fair Oaks Avenue and Monterey Road.
Following the accident at approximately 5:45 p.m., Captain Kris Saxon of the South Pasadena Fire Department said the woman suffered road rash to her lower back and waist area and opted not to be transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital.
“There were very minor injuries,” said Saxon, noting the woman was fully evaluated before signing a standard release form carried by firefighters.
No injuries were reported to the driver of the vehicle, noted Saxon.
