As everyone is now well aware, South Pasadena is transitioning to district based elections and is in the process of drawing our district boundary maps. The community is strongly encouraged to attend a Saturday Community Workshop from 10am-12pm at City Council Chamber to review draft maps of district boundaries. Your input is vitally important to ensure that the boundaries are created in a way which ensures adequate representation for your neighborhood.

The next vital meeting is the Public Hearing on September 20 at 7:30pm at the Amedee O. “Dick” Richards, Jr. Council Chambers. This is the community’s final opportunity to voice opinions on the maps. Your input is crucial! The following meeting will be the final vote and no more commentary will be taken.

The City’s Demographer will be present at each of these meetings to answer residents’ questions and to hear input on suggested modifications to the draft maps.
