Los Angeles Piano Sextet at The Library!

Restoration Concerts put on a non-profit event with Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library.

On February 25th, 2018 – 4:00 pm – the Restoration Concerts, under the non-profit umbrella of the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library, will present the LOS ANGELES PIANO SEXTET whose members have been performing together since 2014. All the wind players are, or have been, members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra. They are also active in motion picture and television recording, and all teach at local universities including USC and Pepperdine. They are as follows: Bernadene Blaha – piano, Susan Greenberg – flute, Jennifer Johnson Cullinan – oboe, Michele Zukovsky – clarinet, Judith Farmer – bassoon, and Amy Jo Rhine – French horn.

Program: -Mozart’s Quintet for Piano and Winds, K.452 -Poulanc’s Sextet for Piano
and Winds Quintet, Op. 100 and -Thuille’s Sextet for Piano and Wind Quintet, Op. 6.The February 25th concert will take place at the South Pasadena Public Library – 1115 El Centro Street, South Pasadena, CA 91030 – $20.00 at the door
