On Saturday April 9, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Huntington Drive held a special children’s Easter activity. The children went as a group from room to room to view live reenactments of scenes from the last week of the life of Jesus Christ including the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Tomb and the Resurrection. Each scene was narrated by Michael Hughes with background cello music played by Laura Vaden. This event was planned and organized by South Pasadena residents, Ladell Muhlestein, who came up with the idea and organized the event, and Laurie Astle who created the costumes and sets. A large team of volunteers worked hard and succeeded in making this a special event for all involved.
