Santa will be arriving in a custom Sheriff’s sled (truck) filled with toys and gifts. He will be accompanied by Mrs. Claus and his helpers from the Sheriff’s Transit Services Bureau. A representative from the Los Angeles County Fire Department may attend, duties permitting.

This is the fifth year the Sheriff’s Department has partnered with Kaiser Permanente to brighten the day for the children. The Transit Services Bureau of the Sheriff’s Department provides police services to Metro and has done so for over 29 years. The Transit Services Bureau within the LA County Sheriff’s Department has historically had a great relationship with transit patrons. With crime currently trending down on the Metro system and having one of the highest solve rates of crimes that do occur within the county of Los Angeles, Sheriff’s Transit Services Bureau remains committed to Metro, it’s patrons, and employees, to remaining a large part of the transit landscape in Los Angeles.
