The South Pasadena Marching Band and Color Guard brought back a score of 73.55 in their third competition last Saturday.

Held at Warren High School in Downey, the competition showcased a total of 31 bands, six being in South Pasadena’s division, 3A.

As a part of the total scoring, percussion’s performance earned a score of 15.2 and color guard’s performance resulted in a 14.3.

The hard work and effort made by band once again paid off, as the score from the competition was an improvement from the previous competition’s result of 70.55.

Currently, SPHS stands in 12th place out of all 3A bands cumulatively.
