Since 2005, Pasadena’s Lineage Dance Company has been presenting Healing Blue to raise support and awareness for breast cancer centers across the country. The show tells the true stories of women in their struggles and triumphs over cancer. These stories form the emotional backbone of the night, and dive into touching, profound, and sometimes hilarious aspects of living with an often life-threatening illness. Each year Lineage brings new women’s stories to light as well as the choreography that has been inspired by their words.

This show also marks a decade of Lineage’s partnering with The Foundation For Living Beauty, a nonprofit organization focused on cancer support, whose clients are featured as storytellers in Healing Blue.
