Palaver with our Grand Marshall over the magnificent 'Mother Road' and grab a copy of 'Route 66 in California'

He is, among other things, a Freeway fighter, former President of the S.P.P.F., CHC consultant, and historic home owner in South Pasadena.

Our very own Glen Duncan – ‘Mr.Route 66″ and Grand Marshall of this years Festival of Balloons- will be autographing copies of ‘Route 66 in California’, a book which he authored in affiliation with the California Route 66 Preservation Foundation.

The book itself takes an in-depth look into the ‘Mother Road’, Route 66, and the cultural and historical impact that it has made on our beloved state. Rare, one-of-a-kind archival photos, spanning multiple decades, tell the story of a road with an incomparable history.

Truly a relic to be cherished, this book embodies the spirit of preserving and educating those who have not yet experienced the magic of a near-literal time machine, by taking them on a tour through print.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to meet a man who arguably knows more about Route 66 more than anyone in this town, and grab a limited signed copy of this very special book.

Glen Duncan will be located at the Route 66 tent in Garfield Park tomorrow right after the parade. Copies of the book will be sold for $20.17 each to commemorate the parade day.
