Aspiring musicians will have a rare opportunity to receive expert career advice and industry training during In Tune: The Art of Musical Excellence, a free, one-day workshop hosted by the Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Presented by Bleeding Excellence Productions and LACM, the event is led by Timothy Bailey Jr., a world-class bassist and LACM graduate who has performed with artists like Ariana Grande, Frank Ocean, and Tyrese. The all-day event will feature live mock auditions, feedback sessions, and workshops from Grammy-level talent and session musicians with credits spanning pop, R&B, gospel, soul, and jazz.

About Timothy Bailey Jr.
A Kansas City native and LACM alumnus, Timothy Bailey Jr. has performed on national stages including SNL, The Tonight Show, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. His session credits include Frank Ocean, Jordin Sparks, Big Sean, and more. His debut solo album Levels dropped in 2023, with a follow-up due in summer 2025.
