Welcome back to school!
Students from South Pasadena returned to the classrooms today arriving in all modes of transportation, whether by car, bike, skateboards, wagon and any other form of transport one can imagine.

But come they did, in droves.

At the high school, students with loaded backpacks were greeted by administrators and directed to their respective classrooms.

At Arroyo Vista school, a friendly crossing guard greeted old acquaintances as she guided families across the street.

Students and their chaperones were lined up around the block, eagerly awaiting the opening of the school’s gates.

SPPD patrols circled the various campuses to provide safety and security for vehicles and pedestrians to avoid any dangerous situations.
