The Festival of Balloons held its annual firework show at the South Pasadena High School field on Wednesday, July 4. The display, which was produced by Pyro Spectacular, lasted roughly 20 minutes and included a number of colorful firework shells and designs.
Gates for the event opened at 5:30 p.m. so that families could grab seats on Roosevelt Field’s turf or the stadium bleachers. The Citrus College band Mainstream performed in front of adentants before the fireworks.
The event was a climax to a day of festivities around the city, which included a parade and celebration at Garfield Park.
