Movies, commercials and student films are regularly filmed in South Pasadena because of its “anywhere in the U.S.A.,” according to the city’s Film Liaison Joan Aguado

Below are some of the recent productions filmed in South Pasadena:

  • 4/16 – A PSA for “Build America” was shot in the 1800 block of Diamond.
  • 4/17– A commercial for “VA 529” was shot in the 1700 block of Diamond.
  • 4/17– A commercial for “American Standard” was shot in the 800 block Orange Grove Pl.
  • 4/18 – A commercial for “Lactaid Ice Cream” was shot in Garfield Park.

Hundreds of movies, TV commercials and student films are shot in South Pasadena throughout the year.
