In celebration of Earth Day, the South Pasadena Woman’s Club is sponsoring a community clean-up along Fair Oaks Avenue in South Pasadena. The clean-up will be held on Sunday, April 24 from 8 am to 11 am and will start in front of ACE Hardware at 452 Fair Oaks Avenue in South Pasadena. Participants are asked to bring their own gloves, sunscreen, and water. The Club will provide trash bags.
The South Pasadena Woman’s Club provides opportunities for philanthropy, networking, and support for women in the South Pasadena area. In 2021, an evening group of the South Pasadena Woman’s Club was formed for women interested in the club’s mission who cannot attend daytime meetings. Having adopted the moniker “the Eves”, the evening group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at the historic Woman’s Club House located at 1424 Fremont Avenue in South Pasadena. All are welcome to join the Eves or the morning group of the Woman’s Club which meets the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 am.
