Country music singer Keith Urban made a brief visit in South Pasadena last Tuesday to film scenes for a new music video.
In the video, Urban wakes up in a bed on the street, gets into a taxi and drives away.
Urban, known to perform 2 1/2 hours of high-energy guitar solos and moving ballads during shows, debuted his first album in 1991. A year later he moved from Australia to the United States to further launch a superstar career.
Members of the South Pasadena Police Department were on the scene from about 4 p.m. to midnight as the production took place on Arroyo Verde Road from Sycamore Drive to Pasadena Avenue.
To make it happen, no parking signs were posted on the east side of Arroyo Verde Road from Pasadena Avenue to Marmion Way and on both sides of Arroyo Verde Road from Sycamore Avenue to Marmion Way.
