Car Accident Huntington Drive | DUI Arrest & Overturned Car

At about 8:10 pm Wednesday night, 911 calls to the South Pasadena Police reported a traffic accident and a vehicle overturned.

According to SPPD officer Burgos reporting on the scene to The South Pasadenan News, the driver of the overturned car had already exited by the time emergency vehicles arrived.  He was checked out by paramedics, and “was obviously under the influence of something and was taken into custody”

According to paramedics, the driver sustained only minor injuries.  No other injuries were reported.

Officer Burgos cautioned nighttime motorists to be aware that other drivers may be drinking and driving.  “Fortunately he’s [the driver] okay, he’s getting checked right now at the hospital and from there on will be booked for driving while under the influence”
