A suspicious vehicle call led to a police stop near Arroyo Drive and Hermosa Street on Tuesday after local gardeners reported a black truck circling the area and scoping out work vehicles.
According to a lead South Pasadena Police officer on the scene, officers located the black pickup truck, which had no license plates, and conducted a traffic stop.
Upon inspection, they discovered the suspect had no driver’s license and was in possession of various burglary cutting tools. Additionally, the truck bed contained gardening equipment.
Authorities are investigating whether the suspect was involved in recent thefts. Residents and workers in the area are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the South Pasadena Police Department.
