“Bird’s Eye,” an exhibition of plein-air landscapes by noted Judson Studio designer and artist Reed Weston Bradley, opens Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at the SPARC Gallery@South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, with a reception from 3 to 6 p.m., The exhibition runs through Nov. 11, 2023.
Los Angeles-based artist Reed Weston Bradley, whose stained-glass designs for the
historic Judson Studio are found in secular and religious settings worldwide, is also
a plein-air artist who finds inspiration for his watercolor landscapes as an avid hiker
and an explorer of outdoor green spaces.

Among the works at the SPARC Gallery displaying Bradley’s fine brushwork and
sensitive eye for beauty are resonant images of trees and foliage at local parklands
in shadow and sunlight, watched over by the distant San Gabriel Mountains.
Admission to “Bird’s Eye” is free. The SPARC Gallery@South Pasadena Chamber of
Commerce, operated by the South Pasadena Arts Council, is located at 1121 Mission
St., South Pasadena. Following the Sept. 16 opening, Gallery hours vary. To schedule
