UPDATE Monday, 2:30pm: South Pasadena Councilmemebr Michael Cacciotti directed city hall staff to clear out the construction ASAP and keep the ballot box at South Pasadena City Hall fully accessible until the election is over. The box was clear and accessible before the end of the day.

The official election ballot drop-off box is currently obstructed by construction taking place at City Hall on Monday around 1:30 p.m..
Vehicles and equipment were parked in front and on the sidewalk, rendering it difficult for those attempting to drop in their ballots.
This happens as Election Day falls on the following day, Tuesday, November 3.
Obviously City Hall, with its minimum staff, has not been paying attention.
Construction began last week but City Hall should have placed a Monday, Tuesday stop on the project.
Yes, I am aware this would have added to the expense of construction!
