Lauren Kafkaloff is a 5’9” senior in a two-sport athlete involved in both basketball and track and field at South Pasadena High.

On the court she has been a four- year varsity starter. Kafkaloff has helped lead the Tigers to three straight CIF playoff appearances and looks to cap her senior season with a huge year and another playoff run.

A do everything player, she is comfortable both on the perimeter or in the post. The expected leader in both points and rebounds is also asked to guard the opponents best post player.

If the Tigers intend to have a fourth straight playoff appearance, it will be on the shoulders of Kafkaloff to deliver both on the court and with her senior leadership. A Rio Hondo League champ in the shot put, she also is senior class president and heads up the South Pasadena High School yearbook.

Older sister Kristen also played hoops for the Tigers and is now at UC Berkeley.
