Hodis Learning & Music (HLM) will be hosting a 4-week art portfolio workshop for aspiring professional artists. If you are a professional artist looking to get your art into galleries, HLM art instructor, Gwen Hollingsworth, can help you put together a cohesive body of work. This portfolio review can also help you if you are seeking a residency position and need to showcase your skills and experience. In this limited workshop series, you’ll receive advice and insights from a professional artist who has already shown her work in galleries throughout Los Angeles.
It’s recommended that students attend workshop sessions once a week for two to three hours at a time. Workshop sessions will take place similarly to all HLM sessions, where educators come directly to students either in-home or in a public setting like a library or coffee shop. Students will work one-on-one with Hollingsworth for a personalized, focused portfolio review experience. Hollingsworth is trained in many mediums and can help artists perfect their portfolios whether they specialize in drawing, ceramics, photography, sculpture, or painting.
Hollingsworth earned her BA in Art from the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture and now works professionally as a painter and art instructor in Los Angeles.
Although HLM offers portfolio building services year round, the summer workshop is a more intensive and focused program. The workshop will take place from June 1, 2022, to August 31, 2022. Interested students should reserve their spot by visiting hodislearning.com and filling out the contact form, or they can call (626) 227-1149. Space is limited for the workshop, so contact Hodis Learning & Music today for this exclusive opportunity!
HLM will also be offering a no-cost webinar on May 7, 2022 to inform students on how to fast track their portfolio process. Register for this great webinar to reserve your spot!
