All parks in the City of South Pasadena will be closed on Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 10, in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.
City parks will reopen Monday, May 11.
Making the health and safety of its residents a top priority, the mandate follows in line with the County of Los Angeles’ calling for the closure of parks on Mother’s Day.
The South Paws-adena Dog Park; tennis courts at Orange Grove Parks and Garfield Park, the skate park, Arroyo Seco trails and korse trail as well as play areas at all parks remain closed indefinitely.
Parks are safe on May 9, safe on May 11, extremely deadly on May 10. Got it.
