Two teenager passengers suffered scratches, bumps and bruises after a 2001 Honda they were driving overturned following a crash on Spruce Street in South Pasadena Thursday morning, east of Diamond Avenue.
Describing the injuries, Eric Zanteson, a division chief with the South Pasadena Fire Department, said the individuals were not transported to a hospital for treatment following the accident at about 10:25 a.m.
Both occupants climbed safely out of the vehicle.
No other car was involved in the incident.
Zanteson said the driver of the vehicle heading Southbound on Diamond “failed to negotiate the turn onto Spruce” causing it to hit a tree and overturning.
Glad no one was hurt. Accidents can happen. Hopefully the drivers learned valuable lessons. No need to be vindictive.
I hope they throw the book at the driver. He must have been speeding and he could have killed some innocent people. What do you have to do to flip a car as you turn from Diamond onto Spruce?
