FRAUD BY FALSE PRETENSE
7-23-18, 4:27 p.m. to 4:43 p.m., 400 block of Mission. Suspect calls victim and poses as an IRS agent. Suspect advises victim that victim owes money and if the amount is not paid within the hour, an arrest warrant would be issued. Victim transfers funds.
ASSAULT
7-24-18 9:59 a.m. to 10:28 a.m. 1100 block of Oxley. Suspect confronts victim and slaps victim’s hand. Suspect Arrested: Male, white, 57 years old, Los Angeles.
ROBBERY
•7-6-18, 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Huntington/Fair Oaks. Suspect 1 grabs loss from victim’s back while suspect 2 strikes victim’s head. Suspect Description: S1 – Male, Black. S2 – Male, Black. Loss: Backpack, wallet, cash.
•Suspect attempts to rob victim by pulling a knife and demanding victim’s belongings. Suspect pats down victim in an attempt to check for valuables but is scared off when he spots a bystander using a cell phone. Suspect Description: Male, Hispanic, 20s 5’09’’ to 5’10’’, medium build, shaved head, wearing a black-colored shirt and blue-colored jeans. Loss: None.
