The City of South Pasadena invites residents to a community meeting to discuss the latest updates on the Huntington Drive and Fremont Ave Corridor Improvement Project. This is an opportunity for the public to review and provide input on recent design refinements.

Meeting Details:

  • Date: Monday, August 31

  • Time: 6:00 p.m.

  • Location: South Pasadena Public Library Community Room

Please note that an additional meeting date and location will be determined and announced soon.

What to Expect

The project team will gather feedback on specific refinements to the approved design concepts. Key discussion topics will include:

  • Plans for the Metro line crossing.

  • Proposed roundabouts on Fremont Avenue.

  • How this project will complement other local infrastructure work planned for the next two years.

About the Project

Funded by $16 million in Metro grants, this project aims to relieve congestion and enhance safety and mobility for pedestrians, cyclists, transit riders, and drivers along both corridors. Following public input earlier this year, the City Council approved the core design concepts. Final designs and the start of construction are currently anticipated for Fall 2026.

Your input is essential to ensuring these improvements reflect community priorities. For more information, previous meeting presentations, and an interactive project map, please visit the City’s official project page.
