Pasadena Humane is excited to announce its second Free Adoption Day of the summer. The event takes place on Saturday, July 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Adoption fees will be waived for all available dogs, cats, and critters, thanks to the generous support of the Pet Care Foundation and the Georgia B. Ridder Foundation.

Pasadena Humane is inviting the community to open their hearts and homes during this special adoption event, giving dogs, cats, kittens, and other shelter animals the chance to find the loving families they deserve. Every adoption also creates much-needed space and resources to help the next animal in need.

“This event comes at an especially important time for us, as we are still in the height of kitten season,” says Pasadena Humane’s President & CEO, Chris Ramon. “Summer is one of our busiest times, and every adoption makes a real difference. When a pet goes home with a loving family, it not only changes that animal’s life, but also creates space and resources so we can help the next pet in need.”

Adopting from Pasadena Humane offers lifelong benefits for both pets and their new families. Animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccinations before going home. Adoption counselors work closely with families to help match them with a pet that fits their home, lifestyle, and experience level, helping set both people and pets up for success.

Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, and standard screening applies. Available pets can be viewed at pasadenahumane.org.
