On May 2, 2026, at approximately 10:35 p.m., the South Pasadena Police Department Communications Center received a report of a residential burglary that had just occurred in the 1400 block of Fair Oaks Avenue.
Officers quickly arrived on scene and began an investigation. Surveillance footage of the suspect was obtained and shared with responding units. A short time later, officers located and detained an individual matching the suspect’s description, who was found in possession of property taken during the burglary.
Following further investigation, officers arrested 46-year-old Peter Crosby of Los Angeles. A records check revealed that Crosby was on Post-Release Community Supervision and had an active felony parole warrant for burglary.
Crosby was booked into the Pasadena City Jail on burglary charges. The case will be forwarded to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
