A cherished South Pasadena tradition since 1981, the All City Track Meet (ACTM) returns to South Pasadena High School on Friday and Saturday, April 24–25, 2026, bringing together elementary students from across the city for two days of track and field competition and community celebration.
Organized and run by South Pasadena PTAs, the All City Track Meet is open to all elementary students in South Pasadena, with no prior experience necessary. Students may register for individual events, while relay events require qualification through school-based tryouts. Children who require accommodations are encouraged and welcomed to participate, and families are invited to reach out in advance to discuss specific needs.

Event Schedule Highlights
The meet begins on Friday, April 24, with Opening Ceremonies at 4:00 p.m. Field events start at 4:30 p.m., and students may participate in “Field Day Fun” between events. Friday activities are expected, but not guaranteed, to conclude by approximately 8:00 p.m.
On Saturday, April 25, Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:00 a.m., followed by running events at 8:30 a.m. Saturday events are expected, but not guaranteed, to conclude by noon.

Grades 3, 4, and 5 (5:00 to 6:30 p.m.)
Arroyo Vista: Tuesday, April 14
Marengo: Friday, April 17
Monterey Hills and Holy Family: Tuesday, April 21
Grades Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd (Wednesday, April 22)
Marengo: 3:45 p.m.
Arroyo Vista and Holy Family: 4:45 p.m.
Monterey Hills: 5:45 p.m.
One of the key lessons of the All City Track Meet is learning how to be a good sport. Students are encouraged to compete with enthusiasm while showing respect, following the rules, cheering positively, and supporting teammates and opponents alike.
With opening ceremonies, field and running events, adapted activities, and opportunities for families and schools to come together, the All City Track Meet continues to reflect the spirit of South Pasadena and its commitment to youth, inclusion, and community.
