The Weekly Crime Summary is a list of reported auto thefts, burglaries, robberies and other
activities occurring in the City of South Pasadena. An alert and well-informed citizen makes you less of a target to a criminal. Remember, call the South Pasadena Police Department to report any suspicious activity.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
9-5-25, 1 PM to 9-11-25, 4:36 AM, 900 block of Mission (Extra Space Storage).
Suspect(s) cuts padlock securing victim’s storage unit to gain entry and takes loss.
LOSS: Boxes.
ASSAULTS
• 9-19-25, 8:15 AM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Suspects enter store
and takes misc. items, then exit store without paying for them. Employee
follows suspect and demands items back. Suspect raises a stick in a
threatening manner and victim takes items back. Suspect then walks away.
LOSS: None. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 30-40 years, beard,
wearing a blue hat, red shirt, brown jacket and pushing a stroller.
• 9-22-25, 1 PM, 1900 block of Fremont (Almansor Center). Suspect and
victim are students and get into an argument, which escalates to suspect
pulling victim’s hair.
THEFT
• 9-8-25, 5:10 PM, 1400 block of Huntington (Grocery Outlet). Suspects enter
store and takes loss, then exit store without paying for loss. LOSS: Alcohol.
SUSPECT VEHICLE: White, Lexus ES. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: S1
– Male, Black, 40 years, bald, wearing black t-shirt and black pants. S2 –
Male, Black, 40 years, bald, wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.
• 9-9-25, 3 PM, 1800 block of Alpha. Suspect takes loss from victim’s front
porch. LOSS: Parcel package. SUSPECT VEHICLE: ’02, Toyota
Highlander. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic.
• 9-9-25, 12 PM to 3 PM, 1100 block of Magnolia. Suspect(s) takes unlocked
and unattended loss from alley. LOSS: Electric bicycle.
IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD
• 9-2-25, 12:30 PM, 600 block of Fair Oaks (Bristol Farms). Victim is using
loss to pay for groceries when suspect approaches and claims that victim
dropped a $10.00 bill. Victim picks up cash and exits store. Suspect again
approaches victim in the parking lot and tells victim that the $10.00 was his
and victim gives cash to suspect. Victim later discovers loss missing and
that an unauthorized withdrawal occurred. LOSS: Debit card.
• 9-15-25 to 9-19-25. Victim applies for a small business loan online and
suspect instructs victim to open a bank account. Suspect sends victim a
check to deposit, and to wire money to an unknown person in the Dominican
Republic.
POSSESS ANOTHER PERSONS ACCESS CARD
9-22-25, 3:38 PM, 600 block of Arroyo. Officer contacts suspect who is found to
have an outstanding warrant and in possession of another person’s access card.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 53 years, Pomona.
POSSESS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
• 9-16-25, 10:55 AM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks. Officers conduct a welfare
check on a subject that is slumped over in the driver’s seat. Subject is found
to be in possession of a controlled substance and an expandable baton.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, 36 years, Northridge.
• 9-19-25, 11:10 PM, 1600 block of Oxley. Suspect is stopped for a traffic
violation and is found to be in possession of a controlled substance and
drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 43 years, Los
Angeles.
FURNISH ALCOHOL TO MINOR
9-12-25, 8:43 PM, 1700 block of Monterey. Officers respond to a noise compliant
regarding a group of juveniles loitering in the street. Officers locate numerous
juveniles at a party drinking alcohol. Officers contact homeowner who allowed the
juveniles to consume alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 55 years,
South Pasadena.
VANDALISM
• 9-6-25, 12 PM to 9-9-25, 12 PM, 1700 block of Grevelia. ’15, Range Rover
Evoque. Suspect(s) gains entry into victim’s vehicle by unknown means
and damages the interior.
• 9-17-25, 3:56 PM, 1300 block of Huntington. Victim is sitting at a table with
suspect listening to music, when suspect grabs loss and smashes it on the
ground. LOSS: Speaker. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 40 years,
Los Angeles.
DUI
9-19-25, 12:10 AM, Pasadena/Monterey. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation
and is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED:
Female, White, 26 years, Montebello.

• 9-19-25, 5:04 AM, 300 block of Orange Grove (see attached Press
Release).
Injury Traffic Collision
• 9-16-25, 7:30 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks.
• 9-20-25, 8:30 AM, Fremont/Mission.
Non-Injury Traffic Collision
• 9-16-25, 4:14 PM, Fremont/Maple.
• 9-18-25, 8:35 AM, 500 block of Hawthorne.
• 9-18-25, 5:49 PM, 1500 block of Hope (hit-and-run).
• 9-19-25, 5:22 PM, Monterey/Fair Oaks (hit-and-run).
