
Residents impacted by the Eaton Fire are invited to spend a relaxing and restorative day at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden on Sunday, June 29, as part of a free community day hosted specially for fire survivors.
Open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Arboretum offers 127 acres of lush landscapes, exotic plants, and peaceful walking trails. Guests will also enjoy a variety of interactive activities, including:
- Scavenger hunts for all ages
- Curiosity carts and educational stations
- A microscope exploration table
- A wish tree to share hopes and reflections
- A seed giveaway to bring nature home
A Healing Day in Nature
This special event aims to offer comfort and connection through nature for those affected by the recent wildfire. Families and individuals can take in the botanical beauty, unwind in a tranquil environment, and engage in meaningful community activities.
