The City of South Pasadena is calling on classic car enthusiasts to help celebrate Independence Day in style by joining the annual Festival of Balloons 4th of July Parade. The community-favorite event takes place on Friday, July 4, 2025, starting at 11:00 a.m. on Diamond Avenue, adjacent to the Library Community Room, and will conclude at Garfield Park.
Classic Cars to Add Sparkle to the Independence Day Tradition
This year, the city is especially excited to welcome vintage, antique, and classic cars of all makes and models to the parade. Participants can choose to drive in the parade or volunteer to transport local dignitaries and special guests, contributing to the festive and nostalgic atmosphere.
Parade Theme: “Unity in Community: One Nation, One Neighborhood”
The 2025 parade theme encourages togetherness, creativity, and community pride. Classic cars will roll alongside a vibrant lineup that includes local Scouts, service clubs, youth sports teams, and the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Committee.
