Little Women Ballet returns to Heritage Square Museum for an immersive, site-specific performance May 23–25, 2025, celebrating sisterhood, resilience, and Victorian elegance through ballet. Directed by Emma Andres, the spring edition of this beloved production invites guests to follow Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy through the historic homes of Heritage Square as their story unfolds in dance.
Following the devastation of the Eaton Fire, which destroyed costumes and props, the troupe has rebuilt with community support and is now preparing for its spring revival with five performances across Memorial Day weekend.

Set against the backdrop of eight restored Victorian-era buildings, the experience includes a walking tour through the museum’s historic homes. Each guest receives a goodie bag with themed items and a ribbon corresponding to one of the March sisters, guiding them along a specific narrative path.
The event includes spring-themed desserts and drinks, live performances, and a finale where the audience is invited to join in a Victorian folk dance. Afterward, guests can enjoy a meet-and-greet and complimentary photo session with the dancers.
Telling Women’s Stories Through Dance
Founded in 2023, Little Women Ballet is part of a growing movement to center women’s narratives in classical dance. Choreographed by 26-year-old Emma Andres, the ballet incorporates original compositions by Daniel Robbins along with Victorian-era music by Debussy and Brahms. Andres, a UC Irvine graduate and co-artistic director of SCOPIXdance, is committed to telling uplifting stories that inspire young artists.
