Pasadena Humane’s 27th annual Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run successfully brought together the community at Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl on Sunday, April 6, to celebrate animal welfare and honor resilience in the aftermath of the Eaton Fire.
A Day of Fun for a Cause

Participants took part in either a 1-mile or 5K walk or run, followed by a festive gathering featuring pet-friendly activities, giveaways, food trucks, and more. Highlights included a doggy costume contest, a “Sit, Stay and Play” training park, and a vendor expo that entertained both pets and their people.
“After the Eaton Fire, it was powerful to see the community come together in support of animals and each other,” said Mia Dunn, Senior Director of Philanthropy at Pasadena Humane.
Raising Funds for Lifesaving Programs
The event raised funds for Pasadena Humane’s essential services, including its animal ICU, foster care program, pet food pantry, and Helping Paws pet owner assistance program. These services proved especially critical during the fire response and continue to support thousands of animals across the Greater Los Angeles area.
Participants registered as individuals or teams and competed to earn prizes for Top Fundraiser, Top Donor, and Top Fundraising Team. Many attendees brought their four-legged friends, while others joined simply to support the cause.
Strong Turnout and Support

General and virtual registration was priced at $50, with onsite registration available for $65. All participants received a limited-edition t-shirt, dog bandana, bib, and medal as keepsakes. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual participation option was available.
