Young Stars Theatre’s WINTER CAMP

YST is doing their first winter camp in over a decade | Cinderella Kids

Young Stars Theatre (YST), now about to begin their fourth year of calling South Pasadena home, is about to do something they haven’t done in more than ten years: A one-week Winter Camp!  Jack Bennett, YST’s Artistic Director, says, “It’s been awhile, at least ten years and maybe longer. I’d have to look it up!”

This one-week fun winter camp begins December 31st and runs that Monday thru Friday, 10am to 3pm each day. Saturday and Sunday will each have two performances of “Disney’s Cinderella Kids” (the shorter version, about 40 minutes), all open to the public. The camp is open to ages 5 to 18.  For full info and to register, go to:

Get registered soon, because as of this writing the camp is about half full! Camp tuition is just $195. Aftercare is available until 5pm for $20/day or $60/week. All camp days and performances are at YST’s home, the beautiful Fremont Centre Theatre.

In addition, YST is about to open their Christmas show, “Elf Jr.” for the second year in a row on November 30th. “Elf Jr.” last year was one of YST’s most popular shows ever, so with only three weekends and 8 total performances this year, they expect several sold out performances. Tickets are available at their website, www.youngstarstheatre.org/tickets

Just after the New Year, YST is doing something they’ve never done before: A Murder Mystery!  Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None” will be going up for three weekends, with both a Youth and an Adult Cast!

As always, YST is thrilled to see where the New Year takes them!
