The summer of YST Summer Camp Shows has begun!
Kids on Broadway, YST’s first summer show, has just 4 performances, June 16-17. KOB is a revue of some of your favorite Broadway moments, and with songs and scenes from eight Broadway shows and a few other classics, this show is fun for everybody.
Disney’s Aristocats Kids is an abbreviated version of the classic movie musical, and is also only playing 4 performances and one weekend, June 30 and July 1. Sophisticated cats of Paris meet their more rough-hewn counterparts from the country, and learn that there is more they have in common than they might have suspected. A shorter show (just over half an hour) and tickets only $15, this show is especially sure to delight our younger audience members.
Aladdin Jr. plays for 8 performances over two, July 14-15, 20-22. When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie’s magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin JR., a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.
And finally the full Broadway classic, The Music Man also plays for 8 performances over two weekends, August 4-5, 10-12. This tale of the traveling “salesman” who meets his match in the stubborn Iowa townsfolk never ceases to delight audiences! This camp is already filling up, so don’t wait!
