She goes simply as “Nathalia” and her upbeat sounds came to South Pasadena on June 20 to kickoff the city’s Wonderful Wednesdays series.

Natalia performed her original bilingual music as about 30 kids, along with family members, enjoyed the high-energy hour-long show inside the South Pasadena Library Community Room.

Songs, written in English and Spanish, reflect stories about Nathalia’s childhood experiences, and those of her own children.

Throughout the year, she performs at schools, museums, festivals, and, of course, libraries like Wednesday’s visit.

The Wonderful Wednesdays continues on June 27 when Magician Wayne Kawamoto brings his wizardry to the South Pasadena Library Community Room for a 3 p.m. performance.
