Woman’s Club Plans Holiday Boutique

The Woman’s Club of South Pasadena will hold their annual Holiday Boutique and Christmas Store Saturday, Dec, 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. 1424 Fremont Ave. South Pasadena

San Gabriel Valley crafts persons and artisans from foothill communities will participate in the event.

A variety of original handmade gifts for all ages, holiday decorations, toys, and festive floral planters will be available. There will also be holiday-baked goods, gourmet jams and salsas.

Guests and children will also enjoy a special visit from Santa Claus and holiday music performed by members of the award winning Los Angeles Children’s Orchestra and Pascale Music Institute.

The clubhouse, a city landmark built in 1913 by noted architect Norman Foote Marsh, will be festively decorated for the holidays.

“Plan to enjoy a fun day of shopping and cheerful holiday music in the warm and colorful ambience of the historic clubhouse,” said Beverly Biber, organizer of the event.

A light lunch in the dining room at the Woman’s Club will be offered from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. and a raffle of holiday gifts will also be held throughout the day.
