WISPPA IS MARCHING IN THE FESTIVAL OF BALLOONS PARADE ON JULY 4TH. MEMBERS, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS – PLEASE JOIN US! Magic Show at the Library Wednesday June 27 at 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM Magic Wayne will engage families with his dazzling prestidigitation and light-hearted humor. Magic Wayne’s website is at www.magicwayne.com. Special weekly events are scheduled each Wednesday at 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm , from June 20th through August 1st, in the Library Community Room. Families are welcome at these free events which are sponsored by the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library. Cost: free; Location: Library Community Room 1115 El Centro Street.

He will educate and show you how to pick the best produce and seasonal ingredients Provence-style. Our National Night Out event will be held on Tuesday, August 7th at Orange Grove Park. Join us for inflatables, games, food, music and more! This event is designed to strengthen relationships in our community and continue to demonstrate relationships with public safety. Police and Fire Departments and various other city components.

CERT Basic Training  Registration Open – Oct 6, 13, 20, 8:00am to 1:00pm each day This 12 hour course teaches the CERT Basics including Fire Safety, Disaster Medical Operations, Search and Rescue, & Hazardous Materials. Must complete all 3 classes to graduate. In 95% of all emergencies, a neighbor, co-worker, or bystander is the first person at the scene of an emergency.
