South Pasadena, CA – Young Stars Theatre Academy (YSTA), South Pasadena’s premier youth theatre company, has opened enrollment for its 2025 Summer Theatre Camps and spots are disappearing quickly. With two of the four sessions already sold out, parents are encouraged to act fast to secure a place for their young performers.
This summer, YSTA is proud to present two sessions of Matilda Jr. and two sessions of Mary Poppins Jr. These are both high-energy, musical favorites that give young actors the opportunity to shine on stage. Each camp session culminates in 4 full musical performances in front of a live audience at the historic Fremont Centre Theatre.
YSTA’s summer camps are a local favorite for families across the San Gabriel Valley, known for blending professional-quality theatre training with a fun, supportive environment. Children ages 6–18 gain confidence, develop performance skills, and make lasting friendships, all while working with experienced theatre educators who bring out the best in every young actor.
