Oh my, the place was packed with green.
St. Patrick’s Day is the feast day of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, and, in a way, the South Pasadena Senior Center hosted a feast of its own Friday afternoon as many enjoyed corned beef and cabbage during the traditional celebration.

Adding to the fun was the Gypsy Folk Ensemble, a professional world dance performing company based in Los Angeles. It was formed in 1978, according to its website, to preserve, perform and teach traditional folk and ethnic dances from people and cultures around the world.
