THEFT

• 12-30-21, 4:00 PM, 200 block of Monterey. Suspect(s) break into multiple mailboxes and take loss. LOSS: Mail.

• 1-4-22, 2:30 AM to 3:09 AM, 700 block of Orange Grove (attempt). ’02 Toyota Prius. Victim is awoken from suspect as suspect attempts to remove a catalytic converter with a reciprocating saw. Suspect flees after being confronted by victim. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: White sedan.

• 1-4-22, 2:18 PM t 2:39 PM, 800 block of Mission. ’21 Honda Accord. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 12-24-21, 8:30 AM to 1-1-22, 8:30 AM, 300 block of Alta Vista. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s porch. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 1-10-22, 3:03 AM to 4:15 AM, 700 block of Orange Grove. ’02 Toyota Prius. Suspects cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1Male, Hispanic, bald, heavyset, wearing dark clothing. S2Male, wearing dark clothing. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

FRAUD

10-9-21, 12:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 1000 block of Fremont. Suspect alters and cashes victim’s check.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 1-1-22, 2:00 AM to 1-4-22, 7:00 AM, 1800 block of State. ’16 Hyundai Tucson.

• 1-5-22, 8:44 AM to 9:00 AM, 1700 block of Mission. ’95 Toyota Tacoma. Vehicle located by Alhambra PD on 1-10-22.

• 1-6-22, 1:44 AM to 2:13 AM, 1000 block of Mission. ’15 Ford F150.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

1-9-22, 5:32 AM to 5:44 AM, 100 block of Monterey. Suspect(s) enter apartment complex carport and unscrew metal hinges to victim’s storage area. Suspect then takes loss. LOSS: Bicycles.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

• 1-3-22, 6:00 PM to 1-4-22, 5:55 AM, 200 block of Monterey (Charlie’s Coffee House). Suspect(s) gain entry into business by breaking a window. LOSS: Cash register, lock box, U.S. currency.

• 1-4-22, 3:57 AM to 4:21 AM, 600 block of Prospect. Suspect pries open laundry room door to gain entry, then pries coin box to laundry machines. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, mask, gloves, dark pants, black shoes, messenger type backpack. LOSS: Coins.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

1-6-22, 6:23 PM to 6:53 PM, 300 block of Pasadena. Officers respond to a call regarding a disturbance and find suspect to be in possession of methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Hispanic, 37 years, Temple City.

DUI

1-8-22, 12:54 AM to 1:19 AM, 500 block of Camino Verde. Officers respond to a traffic collision and find suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 18 years, South Pasadena.

VANDALISM

• 1-4-22, 5:24 AM to 5:37 AM, 300 block of Monterey (Foremost Liquor). Suspect(s) attempt to enter business by prying a door ajar.

• 1-4-22, 3:34 PM to 4:08 PM, 1100 block of Pine. Suspect damages victim’s window.
