THEFT

• 1-18-21, 3:00 PM to 1-22-21, 4:00 PM, 1100 Block of Huntington. ’06 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 1-26-21, 3:15 AM, 1800 Block of Huntington. ’08 Honda Element. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 1-27-21, 12:30 AM, 400 Block of Fair Oaks. Suspect cuts cable locks and removes loss from victim’s vehicle. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, wearing a blue shirt. LOSS: Leaf blowers.

• 1-27-21, 7:10 PM, Ramona and Spruce. ’99 Ford F-250. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. SUSPECT VEHICLE: White van. SUSPECT DESCRIPTIONS: S1- Male, wearing a yellow reflective vest. S2- Male, no further description. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 1-28-21, 12:30 AM, 1200 Block of Fremont. Suspect(s) take loss from city sign pole. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Black Subaru. LOSS: Two street signs belonging to City of South Pasadena.

• 1-26-21, 10:00 PM to 1-28-21, 2:50 PM, 1800 Block of Diamond. ’03 Honda Element. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 1-29-21, 3:32 PM, 1700 Block of Garfield (Ralphs). Suspects enter store and take loss. Suspects then exits store without paying for loss. SUSPECT VEHICLE: White Ford van. SUSPECT DESCRIPTIONS: S1- Female, heavy set, curly/shoulder length hair, wearing a green beanie cap, black sweater and camouflage leggings, S2- Male, wearing a blue Dodger hat, black shorts, black jacket, and black/white shoes. LOSS: Miscellaneous grocery items.

• 1-30-21, 1:00 AM to 1-31-21, 1:30 AM, 1700 Block of Huntington. ’11 Honda Element. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

FRAUD

• 1-15-21, 1000 Block of Fair Oaks. Victim sends a check to suspect for a rental property, but suspect does not respond once check is sent. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 12-31-20 to 1-19-21, 700 Block of Garfield. Suspect(s) opens a bank account under victim’s name without permission.

• 1-22-21 to 1-26-21, 1400 Block of Stratford. Victim receives an email regarding rescheduling the delivery of a USPS parcel package, this email was disguised as looking like it came from USPS. Victim then filled out documents and forms and entered EBT card information and suspect(s) withdrawal funds from victim’s account. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 1-26-21, 900 Block of El Centro. Victim replies to an advertisement for massage services and receives a threatening phone call. Victim then sends the suspect(s) U.S currency in response. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 1-21-21, 900 Block of Fair Oaks. Suspect(s) withdraws loss through unknown means from victim’s account. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 1-19-21, 8:24 AM, 1800 Block of Milan. Victim receives a phone call from suspect claiming to be an employee of a credit union who advised victim about needing to change a password and will receive verification codes. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 1-31-21, 4:00 PM, 2100 Block Pine. ’18, Subaru Outback. Suspect(s) enters victim’s vehicle by unknown means and takes loss. LOSS: Sunglasses.

• 2-1-21, 4 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Suspect enters store and takes loss. Suspect then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Tide pods (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 29 years, Pasadena.

RESISTING AND OBSTRUCTING

  • 1-29-21, 9:46 AM, Monterey and Glendon. Officers respond to area in regards to suspect pulling on vehicle door handles. Officers locate suspect who leads officers on a short foot pursuit. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 36 years, Los Angeles.

STOLEN VEHICLE

  • 12-29-20 to 1-27-21, 8 AM, 1400 block of Fremont (South Pasadena High School). ’19, Yamaha Grizzly 90.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • 1-29-21, 1000 Block of Diamond. Officers contact subject who is found to be in possession of a controlled substance. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 36 years, Los Angeles.

VANDALISM

  • 1-27-21, unknown time, 400 Block of Garfield. Suspect(s) spray graffiti on walls.

ROBBERY

  • 1-27-21, 5:20 PM, 1400 Block of Mission. Suspect and victim were in a relationship. Suspect forcefully takes loss from victim and pushes victim to the ground. Suspect is later arrested. LOSS: Cell phone (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 31 years, Los Angeles.
