THEFT

• 4-26-22, 11:30 AM to 4-28-22, 9:30 AM, 1700 block of Grevelia. ’08 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 4-23-22, 7:30 PM to 4-24-22, 9:00 AM, 1700 block of Foothill. ’01 Acura TL. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 4-28-22, 8:16 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 50 years, blonde hair, wearing a red and blue sweatshirt, light blue jeans, black boots. LOSS: Alcohol.

• 4-28-22, 5:04 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, tattoo on right side of chin, wearing a beige jacket, blue jeans. LOSS: Meat product.

• 5-1-22, 4:09 PM, 1400 block of Bank. Suspect takes loss from victim’s porch. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 32 years. LOSS: Parcel package (recovered).

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

5-2-22, 2:16 PM, 1800 block of Court (Hot Prowl). Suspect attempts to gain entry into victim’s residence by tugging and pushing on a locked sliding rear door. Suspect flees after being confronted by victim. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Female.

ASSAULTS

4-28-22, 10:40 AM, 700 block of Fair Oaks (Coffee Bean). Suspect and victim get into a verbal argument regarding who was in line and suspect pushes victim.

VANDALISM

• 4-24-22, 12:00 PM to 4-26-22, 8:30 AM, 1600 block of Meridian. Suspects cut a lock securing victim’s garage and loosen lug nuts on victim’s vehicle wheel.

• 4-30-22, 6:42 PM, Huntington/Fair Oaks. Subjects vandalize a pedestrian sign with spray paint. SUBJECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Juvenile. S2 – Male, Juvenile.

• 4-30-22, 6:10 AM to 5-2-22, 6:15 AM, 1100 block of Indiana. Suspect(s) cut victim’s door hasp.

• 4-29-22, 12:00 AM to 5-2-22, 8:30 AM, 800 block of Glen. Suspect(s) vandalize water reservoir with spray paint.

• 5-2-22, 10:30 PM, 800 Stoney (Arroyo Park). ’19, Nissan Rogue. Suspect(s) damage the driver side window of victim’s vehicle.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 4-26-22, 4:00 PM to 4-27-22, 6:30 AM, 1800 block of Alpha. ’17 Hyundai Sonata.

• 4-26-22, 7:30 PM to 4-27-22, 6:30 AM, 100 block of Monterey. ’18 Kia Sportage. Vehicle recovered by LAPD Newton.

• 4-27-22, 6:00 PM to 4-29-22, 10:00 AM, 1400 block of Fremont (attempt). ’15 Kia Optima. Suspect(s) damages door handle to gain entry into victim’s vehicle and tampers with steering column in an attempt to start vehicle, but fails. Suspect(s) then takes loss. LOSS: Duffle bag, miscellaneous items.

• 5-2-22, 6:00 AM to 7:40 AM, 1700 block of Hill. Isuzu dump truck.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE

4-26-22, 11:38 PM, 1100 block of Arroyo. ’18 Kia Sportage.

FRAUD BY FALSE PRETENSE

4-1-22, 12:00 AM to 4-10-22, 11:59 PM. Suspect contacts victim by phone and claims that victim had won a sweepstakes from the Publishers Clearing House. Suspect instructs victim to send a check in order to claim the jackpot and victim complies.

FRAUD

Unknown date/time to 4-28-22. Victim’s purse was stolen over a year ago and suspect(s) obtains checks that were in victim’s wallet and fraudulently writes and cashes checks.

BRANDISHING A WEAPON

4-26-22, 4:01 PM, Fremont/Bank. Suspect pulls up next to victim and brandishes a handgun. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Black pickup truck. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, 30 to 40 years.
