THEFT

• 8-22-21, 6:13 PM to 6:53 PM, 2000 block of Berkshire. Suspect enters victim’s backyard and takes loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, wearing a black hat, black sweatband, blue jeans, no shirt. LOSS: Skateboard (recovered).

• 8-25-21, 3:02 PM to 3:28 PM, 1800 block of State. Suspect enters victim’s garage and takes loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic or White, wearing a gray shirt, riding a yellow bicycle. LOSS: Bag.

• 8-26-21, 1:47 AM to 3:55 AM, 900 block of Arroyo. Suspect enters lobby of a residential building and takes loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, wearing a green jacket with white stripes. LOSS: Vase.

FRAUD

• 8-14-21, 8:31 PM to 8-15-21, 6:34 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) uses a fraudulent debit card and makes an unauthorized withdrawal from victim’s bank account.

• 8-23-21, 7:20 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) uses a fraudulent debit card and makes an unauthorized withdrawal from victim’s bank account.

• 8-24-21, 11:00 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) makes an unauthorized withdrawal from victim’s bank account.

• 8-24-21, 6:39 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) makes an unauthorized withdrawal from victim’s bank account.

• 8-21-21, 12:00 AM to 8-24-21, 11:59 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) makes several unauthorized withdrawals from victim’s bank account.

• 5-20-21, 8:49 AM to 5-21-21, 9:32 AM. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to obtain medical services in Bakersfield.

FRAUD BY FALSE PRETENSE

  • 8-21-21, 1:37 PM. Suspect sends a text message to victim and claims that victim’s online access to Chase bank has been locked due to suspicious activity. Suspect sends a phishing link and advises victim to visit the website to unlock the account. Suspect complies and enters personal information. Suspects then attempt to open a new checking account with victim’s information.

TRESPASSING

  • 8-25-21, 7:53 AM to 8:12 AM, 400 block of Fair Oaks (Ace Hardware). Suspect enters business after being previously told to not enter the premises. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Asian, 45 years, transient.

CARJACKING

  • 8-26-21, 1:11 AM, 1900 block of Huntington. ’15 Lexus IS250. Suspects approach victim as victim is parked on the street. Suspect 1 brandishes a knife and forces victim to exit the vehicle as suspect 2 enters the front passenger seat. Officers later locate and arrest suspects. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 20 years, Alhambra. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 22 years, Fontana.

VANDALISM

• 8-25-21, 4:47 PM to 8:41 PM, 1800 block of State. ’06 Honda Odyssey. Suspect damages the rear window of victim’s vehicle.

• 8-26-21, 9:00 AM to 9:39 AM, 1400 block of Mission (Chevron). Suspect(s) place stickers on multiple gas pump pillars.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 8-24-21, 11:31 AM to 11:47 AM, 1800 block of Monterey. Suspect enters victim’s residence by using a spare key and takes loss. Suspect and victim were previously in a dating relationship. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Asian, 23 years, Alhambra. LOSS: U.S. currency, headphones, Apple iPads, smartwatch.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

  • 8-28-21, 12:01 AM, 800 block of Mission (South Pasadena Recreation Center). Suspect gains entry into building by manipulating a piece of plywood that is temporarily being used to cover a broken door window and activates alarm. Officers arrive and locate suspect who is also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 34 years, transient. LOSS: T-shirt (recovered).

ASSAULT

  • 8-28-21, 11:38 AM, 1300 block of Huntington (KFC). Victim gets into an argument with subject. Subject leaves the store and suspect enters the business a short time later. Suspect gets into a physical confrontation with victim. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 30 years, 5’10’’, 200 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes, muscular build.
